AG Asphalt float test instrument

The bitumen float test apparatus measures the float time of bitumen. This is the time, in seconds (s), that it takes for a sample in a specified float apparatus to soften after being placed in a water bath at a specified temperature, until it is broken by the water.

Product Description

Product Applications

The bitumen float test instrument measures the float time of bitumen samples. This is the time, in seconds, it takes for a sample in a specified float instrument to soften and be broken by water after being placed in a water bath of a specified temperature. Unless otherwise specified, the test temperature for the residue after distillation of liquid petroleum bitumen is 50℃, and the test temperature for coal tar pitch is 32℃ or 50℃.

This instrument features a dual-tank design with independent temperature control for low and high temperature baths. The curing temperature and test temperature are preset for convenient and time-saving operation.
