Product Description
LHXM-85 Asphalt Rotary Thin Film Drying Oven
I. Purpose
The model 85 oven is designed in accordance with the test procedures of the Ministry of Transport's JTG E20-2011 and with reference to the standards for rotary thin film ovens in the Japanese JIS standard.
II. Structure
1. The main body of the oven is made of thin steel plate, with the electrical control part at the bottom and the oven working chamber at the top. The turntable motor is located at the rear.
2. The working chamber is a double-layer door made entirely of stainless steel. The observation window is rectangular, and the interior is equipped with a lighting lamp, a squirrel-cage fan, forced ventilation ducts, vents, a turntable, and other facilities. The working chamber shell is entirely made of stainless steel.
3. The oven is equipped with a small air compressor to supply the air needed for the test. The air is metered by a flow meter on the panel before entering the preheated copper tube that spirals inside the oven. Then, it is sprayed into the sample bottles on the turntable through a nozzle. Under the action of the forced ventilation duct and the squirrel-cage fan, the air flow in the oven circulates in a certain direction, and some excess gas is discharged from the upper overflow port outside the oven.
4. The oven uses double-layer, double-flow electric heating from the top and bottom.
5. There is a turntable inside the working chamber that rotates at 15 revolutions per minute. It can simultaneously accommodate 8 glass sample bottles with constricted necks for asphalt samples.
