The T-CM asphalt mixture coring machine (hereinafter referred to as the drilling machine) is a special tool for taking precise samples of asphalt mixtures on-site and indoors. It is easy to operate, lightweight and flexible, with accurate drilling and sampling sizes. The surface is smooth after drilling, and the drilled material is not damaged. It is an ideal construction machine.
The drilling machine uses a series-wound motor as its power source and is equipped with a polycrystalline diamond thin-walled drill bit. It is mainly used in construction projects, including concrete projects for highways, airports, ports, wharves, and dams, as a new series of products for drilling and coring. This eliminates the need for pre-drilling holes in prefabricated panels or the use of the backward construction method of manually opening holes after construction. It is also ideal for coring in scientific research units. In addition, this drilling machine can also be used to drill and core other non-metallic brittle and hard materials, such as refractory materials, ceramics, glass, and rocks.

The drilling and coring machine is a vertical downward drilling machine, consisting of a motor, gearbox, drill bit, column, base, and lifting mechanism.
The structure of the drilling machine is shown in the figure. The single-phase series-wound motor is mounted on the gearbox, and the gearbox is fixed on the lifting mechanism, allowing the gearbox to drive the drill bit below its main shaft to move up and down to achieve drilling or coring.
There is a rack on the column, allowing the gearbox to move up and down along the column. This movement is achieved by manually rotating the feed handle.
