This method is applicable to the penetration test of road petroleum asphalt, modified asphalt, and the residue after evaporation of liquid petroleum asphalt or emulsified asphalt. It meets the requirements of JJG(Transportation) 067-2015 "Measurement Method for Asphalt Penetration", GB4509--84 "Measurement Method for Petroleum Asphalt Penetration", and TO60--93 "Asphalt Penetration Test".

  • This instrument is designed and manufactured according to the requirements of T 0604-2011 "Asphalt Penetration Test" in JTG E20-2011 "Test Methods for Highway Engineering Asphalt and Asphalt Mixtures", the standard of the Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China. It is suitable for testing the penetration of road petroleum asphalt, modified asphalt, and the residue after evaporation of liquid petroleum asphalt or emulsified asphalt.

    Main Technical Features

    1. The lifting mechanism is novel in design, and the fine-tuning structure makes the up and down adjustment easy and smooth.
      2. Equipped with a special low-temperature circulating constant-temperature water bath to provide circulating constant-temperature water to the glass container on the penetration tester's work platform, creating the required, pre-set, constant low-temperature environment for the sample being tested.
      3. Adopts a novel digital display, stable data, reliable operation, and accurate measurement results.
